Precision Landing
- Adhere the included landing target to a flat surface.
- Additional targets can be downloaded from the Landing Targets page.
- To initiate precision landing:
- Hover the UAV above the landing target.
- Switch to Land Mode (ArduPilot) or Precision Land Mode (PX4).
- The UAV should descend to the search altitude, move over the landing target, and slowly land.
tip
The Land / Precision Land modes can be activated using the flight mode switch or through a ground control station. Precision landing may also be used as the final stage of RTL Mode (ArduPilot) or Return Mode (PX4).
