Precision Landing

  1. Adhere the included landing target to a flat surface.
    • To print additional targets or create custom targets, see the Landing Targets page.
  2. To initiate precision landing:
    • Hover the UAV above the landing target.
    • Switch to Land Mode (ArduPilot) or Precision Landing Mode (PX4).
    • The UAV will descend to the search altitude, move over the landing target, and slowly land.

The Land / Precision Landing modes can be activated using the flight mode switch or through a ground control station. Precision landing may also be used as the final stage of RTL Mode (ArduPilot) or Return Mode (PX4).
