Troubleshooting

  1. Confirm MAVLink communication
    • Use a MAVLink Inspector: QGroundControl or Mission Planner.
    • Confirm that HEARTBEAT messages are received from the Landmark module (component 158).
  2. Check for MAVLink status messages
    • The Landmark module reports various errors over MAVLink, including camera errors, landing target errors, and configuration errors.
  3. Verify landing target detection
    • Place a landing target a few feet away within view of the camera.
    • Confirm that LANDING_TARGET messages are received.
